Charter West Bank put a denial in the FHA loan system stating that I owed back child support. I do not owe back child support, as I have had full custody of my daughter and have for the last 8 years. They did this the day after I requested to have my case transferred to another lender, who now is unable to approve me due to the denial put in by charter west.
I have made multiple attempts to resolve this issue, and provided proof, notorized by the state of Nebraska, showing that they are in error, yet branch manager Gary Walters has flatly refused to remove the false mark in the system. He has stated that they will not change it, and they stand behind their decision, yet I had requested a transfer before the denial was made, and federal law requires that they remove the negative mark, as soon as I provide proof of what I am saying, which I did. They literally have a false mark in the system, of which I have sent them proof of, and they have acknowledged receipt of.
They have made no attempt to fix this error, and in doing so, are preventing my family from purchasing a home. This is criminal, and I will pursue all available legal options of resolution, and I am posting this here, because the customers of the bank should know exactly who they are dealing with.
