In 2014 I signed up for Blast Fitness in Dolton, Illinois. In 2015 the gym closed down and business went out of business. Later on 2015, Charter Fitness took over the accounts of Blast Fitness. I never went to Charter Fitness as a member because the gym in not in my neighborhood which is Dolton Illinois and I work in Hammond Indiana at Franciscan Health. Charter fitness DIDNOT have a gym facility close to my home. In 2016 I contacted Charter Fitness about canceling my membership because they continued to Charge me Blast Membership Fee of $29.99 a month even though Blast no longer existed. I contacted Charter Fitness and was told I needed to submit a notarized letter requesting cancelation. I sent letter and still months later I continued to be charged. I sent another letter via certified mail and months later I am still being charged.
I've Contacted Charter Fitness monthly and Receiving run arounds and now the "Corporate Office Number is Disconnected". I've contacted the area fitness clubs and they tell me its handled at Corporate. I have been NEVER been to Charter Fitness and yet they continue to charge me for 5 years.. $29.99 for a Gym that shut down in 2015. CHARTER FITNESS HAS STOLEN my money and now they are sending me to collections for refusing to not pay more. I have done everything they requested by there staff on getting this resolved. But now it's 5 years later. Why are you charging me for a NON EXISTING product. I signed up with Blast Fitness. I do not have any relationships with Charter. Charter refuses to return any emails I've sent through there online system. I need help with this situation. I would like for Charter Fitness to STOP Debiting me $29.99.
I would like Charter Fitness to Stop collections on me for a contract I do not have with them.
I would like Charter Fitness to Cancel and and all contract that they acquired from Blast about me
