Charmdate is a great scam. They claim for providing contacts with real girls as a normal dating site, but it's only PPL (pay per letter) without any possibility to have mail addresses or phone numbers of the girls, no true contact allowed.

I have been in contact with a girl (she claims) from Kyiv, Ukraine, but strangely she didn't absolutely want to have me come to Kyiv. She wanted only to come to Italy, where I live, but as she wanted to know me better, she promised to come only at the end of 2017. So we had contacts on the Charmdate.com site from the beginning of August up to the mid of December, 2017. She said she would come at the beginning of January, but she simply disappeared. Ghosting. No contact possible. No chat invite does work. Nothing. Totally fake. It's very likely that on the site there are mostly fake profiles of truly beautiful girls (models), whereas all the correspondence is done be totally different people (the so called "translators"), probably unemployed English teachers or housewives or whatever. It's impossible to check, I guess, but obviously the whole site works with this system of the (even too) beautiful young girls on the photos and other people working as writers of the correspondence and eventual chatting.

If asked, I can obviously give the details of the name (only christian name, clearly) and the ID number of the girl.

It would be interesting to know if there is any possibility to try a class action against the Qpid network. For me, it's clearly fraud.

This company specializes is matchmaking services between Russian and Ukranian women and men from various countries.

The site is very expensive, charging at most $7.00 for each letter received or sent. So, in order to be able to send a letter to a "lady" and read her reply is $14.00. Supposedly, after 10 letters sent and 10 letters received, you have established a "safe" relationship and can request the "lady's" personal contact info (email addresses, phone number, and maybe even street address). If you are counting, that's at least $140. BUT! When you are new, you must earn the status of "Member in good standing." This is achieved by being actively invloved (writing and receiving letters) on the site for 90 days. That would be approximately $168 if you wrote to 1 person, one time a week for 12 weeks. Still a good bargain if the "ladies" were who they say they are and were actually interested in forming a relationship with a guy like you.

Ok...you meet the girl of your dreams. It doesn't matter. They will all respond to you and profess their undying love for you after a few letters. You're thinking, "Wow! I just have to write and receive 10 letters, then I can get the personal information for Svetlana, Irina, Elena, Olga or Viktoria (you'd think that they had only 5 girls' names to choose from), and I am home free.

Well, I wrote to a woman named Elena, from Dnipro, Ukraine for over 90 days (I was a newbie), so excited to be able to FINALLY request her personal information. I did so. The response was "Sorry, the lady (CXXXXXX) has currently not disclosed any contact information." (Direct cut and paste, except for the Xs.) When confronted with this, she merely stated, "it's a big step." After an additional 2 months of writing to her, it's still a "big step." Unfortunately for her, it's the last step!

Undaunted, but a bit upset, I wrote to someone else from Odessa, Ukraine. I no longer had to wait to become a "member in good standing," because my 90 days (or fee) had been fulfilled. After sending 10 letters and receiving the most tender, loving, and erotic responses, I decided to ask for "Viktoria's" contact information. Again I received, "Sorry, the lady (CXXXXXX) has currently not disclosed any contact information.

They claim that these women are vetted and authenticated. Yet, conveniently, when push comes to shove, you have no way to contact them. You have spent at least $140 to write and receive letters from a photograph; or perhaps a short video (which you pay $14 to view, in addition to the letters).

The webite is masterful. The women are breathtaking. But it is all a chimera. Nothing is real. The women are paid to have you write them letters and to read theirs. I had a woman named Natasha, who was breathtakingly beautiful, write me 6 and 7 letters a day. Do the math. Of course, us stupid men want to read them, so we pay. I wrote her for a while, asking various questions about her and her life. I got letters in return, but NONE of my questions were answered, and it seemed as though she hadn't even read my letter. Which leads me to another point:

Few of these women speak English, so a translator supposedly reads and translates the letters, then forwards them to the "lady."

If you will watch a movie on Netflix entitled, "Love Me" ( a film about Russian and Ukraine dating), you will witness a part where it's admitted that many times you are only talking to a TRANSLATOR" and not the woman at all! Witness how lonely men spend thousands of dollars, only to be left heartbroken and penniless in the end, with one woman actually MARRYING a man, then dropping the hammer that she didn't want him!

Friends, perhaps I was stupid. But this site had write ups by NBC news and various other reputable news outlets. I went in with good faith to be royally screwed.

Avoid CharmDate.com and its affiliates like the plague!

The only good thing that happened to me on charmdate was one girl telling me how it all worked and she gave me the link - http://J4Love.net

she said it was one of the few dating sites that didn't resort to "employing" Ukrainian gilrs and boys to chat with us. She confessed that girls were online on Charmdate 24/7 and they wouldn't leave you alone cuz they're getting paid for chatting and writing messages.

You can see it by how "actively in love" they are with you. It's just another scam site, be very careful with it, it's better to use more trusted, older and safer sites. I tried the site Alena had mentioned and I saw the difference: women's behaviour is just more normal over there, just like in real life, you can see they are not getting paid to correspond with you.

I started using CharmDate about two weeks ago and immediately became suspicious. I wrote to a few ladies in Ukraine and ALL answered me, but only two really sparked my interest. I began with one, and as soon as I tried to give her my email address, I was warned that I could not do this. For the amount I paid to communicate on this site, which turns out to be about $6.00 per letter sent by me and $6.00 for me to read any letter from her and even $6.00 more per photo to see extra pics, I should have stopped right there. They set you up with the girl showing interest in you, getting you "hooked" and then talking about anything, including how much they admire you, how handsome you are, how sexy you are etc, etc...I suspect the girls are real but are acting as cyber-hookers, and there is no way to actually meet them. I tried several times to use an old spy trick to influence a response by email, using a cipher to convey my email address and then later giving the key, explaining how to use it and then said I would wait for a response...instead I got a sob story on their site about how she was worried I would not write her again and how much she would miss me and how she would be crying in her pillow every night if I did not respond. I got no email from her. I won't say that I am a professional spy here, but I knew immediately this was a scam. I'm glad that I'm only out about $150.00, but some lessons need to be learned.

Along with many other dating sites out of Russia and uk raine it a copleterip off That is why so many women write to you even before you have had a chance to write to them as they are all being paid to write to you encourage you to view photos view video at very high costs and at the end of it you have to pay for personal details and then the lady informs you that she as met someoneelse an so the process goes on. This site should betaken out is not honest and only motivated by greed and money and you would get better value from a sex chat site or a local hooker in yourown interest. stay away from these site they are all a complete waste of time and money your money

Do not use charm date. One big rip off. These guys charge you money, to communicate with attractive ladies. Ladies are from Russia and Ukraine, Asia, and other parts of the country. I don't believe you even communicate with these ladies. Because it says, the letters go to get transulated, then sent on to the ladies. The letters stops at transulation area. Then somone send you a letter promising you how much they want to be with you. How much they miss you. All b.s.. I did this for about three weeks. There popular program cost $96.00 you get 16 credits. You use those up in three letters. They charge one credit to open the mail and one credit to send letter to the lady. In about 10 to 14 hours you get a responce from the lady, or machine. I dumped about $600.00 into this scam. Beware of this web site. Do not give them money. The money goes to Hong Kong..
