Won an auction at the end of 2015 that was to be redeemed during the 2016-2017 football season. When I tried to redeem it, I could not reach the contact I was given and all emails continuously bounced back. Charity buzz reached out to them and said they would try to get in touch with the contact. When they did, the contact told me they had moved jobs and could no longer provide the service I PAID for and thanked me for my donation. If I wanted to make a donation for $2k+, I would have made it to an organization that I cared about personally. Charity Buzz then never responded to any of my complaints or emails regarding this issue. STAY far far away!
I had the worst encounter with this company. I have contacted them regarding a personalized listing, which they offered on their website, and they agreed to inquire about that. After giving me 2 false pricing, they let me know they will decide pricing as soon as the auction ends (just so they can make more money, note they take 20% of each account) once the auction ended, they asked the maximum amount, to which I said yes within 10 minutes of their e-mail, however they went behind the back offering it to someone else, without my notice. My countless emails, inquiries were ignored, I was not advised about the situation that was going on, that I have been substituted, and my offer was sent to another person without advising me. Then after countless emails and calls and voicemail messages they had a nerve to say "i declined" which I never did. They chose to completely ignore and disregard me. I urge to be aware how no decent and professional company would treat their costumer in such manner where they cannot maintain a professiona conduct, communication and be honest and fair. It sounds like this company is out there to make as much money as possible not caring about actual people, which ironically they are supposed to considering they are "helping charities". Please read online experiences how unprofessional and scamming they have been to many other people and stay as far as you can.
