I purchased a mew Accurite refrigerator freezer thermometer from an eBay seller which failed within the first two weeks. Chaney instruments the manufacture of accurate products refused to honor the packaged warranty stating that the eBay seller was not an authorized Vendor. This unduly places the burden on the consumer to determine who is and who is not authorized resellers. The bottom line is that 1) The product has a manufacturer's warranty 2) It was defective and 3) The manufacturer failed honor their warranty. Don't buy their products if you rely on their warrsnty.
