I purchased the one month trial for $30. The first person that called was unable to prescribe the meds I needed. He stated someone else would call back. This did not happen. The the second person that called, was checking in. I told her the doctor never called and I have not received the prescription yet. She stated she would escalate this event, since it had been weeks, and still, no doctor called.
One 1/26 the charged me for the next month at the full rate. I emailed them on 1/27 and told them I have not received my services for the first month and cancelled my subscription and requested a refund. They gave me the run around for an additional two months and refuse to refund my money. I had to go elsewhere and pay more money. Horrible service and a total rip off.
What they advertise is NOT what they provide. They offer a set price for a therapist and offer medication if needed. The therapists are young kids and awful! I am sure they are not licensed. I am only 38 so I know these are unskilled and underpaid kids they hire to do this type of work. They also failed to provide any type of prescription to help with stress. Absolute awful service.
I attempted to use this site. It was in the height of the COVID outbreak and I am a healthcare provider. I wanted to utilize telemedicine to obtain a prescription. My issues began when I was called last minute to go into work, this caused me to miss a scheduled appointment. I attempted to notify the company via e-mail but did not receive a response. Cerebral had already billed me for this interaction, and refused to issue a refund; they stated that they were a "subscription" company and I had paid for the month despite no services being rendered.
Additionally, they were unable to provide a basic HIPAA statement when asked to produce one. Because they do not accept traditional health insurance it is uncertain what entity they are regulated by, if any. I feel that they are dangerously unregulated as a healthcare service, providing the consumer with little recourse in the event of fraud or abuse.
