Centerline Communications has a case pending against them in Federal court for Fair Labor Standard Act violations. Currently five employees have filed the complaint based on Centerline's practice of not paying technicians for all hours worked, including travel time, restocking, paperwork and overtime.
Employees are fed up and leaving the company rapidly. The practice at Centerline is to not pay for up to 130 miles of travel time. Knowing that technicians make their living being on the road and traveling to customer sites, this is a major impact on a techs ability to make a fair income.
