Wife got a flat around the corner from their business and went to them because it was the nearest place. Sold her two front tires and recommended an alignment. I went the next day specifically asked if they worked on Volkswagen and the owner said "yeah man we work on everything even Mercedes". They performed the alignment. My rear tires had three months left of tire tread. Two weeks later my cars tail starts swerving in the rain, pretty freakin scary.
I take it back to him to complain about the alignment and he says "let's look at your tires first". The tires were completely bald. Surprised being that they had 3 months left of tread prior to the alignment. He wanted to sell me tires but I had a bad feeling about this guy. So I bought new tires elsewhere. 3,000 miles later the new tires were completely worn out, then I knew the alignment was either never done or done incorrectly. Angry now that I spent money on a bogus alignment and over $200 on new tires I go back to Ceja's and he is still in denial saying I bought cheap tires that's why they are worn. I took the car for a second opinion to a competitor, had them check the tires and alignment and sure enough, alignment was messed up.
He said there is no way tires can wear out unevenly the way they did unless the car had an alignment issue, these tires had a 400,000 mile warranty. It had nothing to do with the tires. I said the car just had an alignment at Ceja's how is this possible. He said either 1 they have a faulty machine or two his technicians aren't trained to service New Volkswagens. He was even kind enough to suggest I not have the service done with him and take the car to the dealer. I went back to Ceja's to show him a print of the alignment diagnostics and he dismissed the chart saying their machine was wrong. I said "remember I asked you if your technicians were trained to work on vws and you said yes" he said "that has nothing to do with it but if you're dissatisfied maybe you should take it to the dealer".
He offered to return my money for the alignment, I said yes and the 200 dollars for the tires that your bogus alignment cost me he laughed and said "I'm not giving you that" at this point I knew the scumbag was running a shady business here. So I shouldn't have believed him when he said a check would arrive by mail in 5 business days for the alignment. The check never came. At the dealership now they second the opinion that no way possible should 2 month old tires be this worn. I have them perform the alignment and purchase two new tires. The pictures are of all three alignment diagnostics two of them prove the car needed an alignment. An alignment that was supposedly done. So all this ended up costing me over $900. Money that Ceja's will be sued for, I have video and audio of our interactions from the time I first went back to complain.
My goal here is to inform you that Ceja's shouldn't be trusted. They are a shady business ran by shady people. He could have done the right thing, admit to his faults and paid me what he owed. Now he will end up paying 3 times the amount. And after I'm done putting him and his company on blast on all business platforms he will lose customers as a result. There are plenty of places to have your cars serviced in Ukiah, avoid the scumbag and go elsewhere.
