I live at Cedar Springs Mobile Estates Park in Cedar Springs Mi. The owner of the trailer park is a slumlord scam artist. They have a 30 day warrenty clause in there lease . They claim they will only do repairs on rental units in that time frame no matter if you live her 2 months or 10 years.
After the 30 day period they charge there tenates $25.00 an hr plus parts and labor. In my perticular situation. I gave the proper repair notice in writting in the 30 day time frame at that time the owner of the estate park refused to do the repairs without me paying the $ 25.00 an hour fee plus parts and labor.
The windows in my trailer dont latch you,I have no screens, the windows leak cold drafty air,water gets in the windows because they dont seal properly, I have no insulation in the inside of my trailer under the sinks or cupboard causing the trailer to be unbearably cold in the winter months.
One room is so cold we cant even use it in the winter we have to block it off. The health department said over half of the trailers here need major repairs. And the owner continues to refuse to fix the units. MY ADVISE TO EVERYONE IS TO AVOID CEDAR SPRINGS TRAILER PARK AT ALL COST UNLESS YOU HAVE A VERY GOOD ATTORNEY THE OWNER IS A SLUM LORD SCAM ARTIST.
