Casmira Bogucki was part of a commune many people were a part of back in the mid 2010s focused on sustainable living. When she moved in she became very interested in the very deep details of everyone's personal lives and quickly became very hostile towards several members of our commune's living space.
She threatened to "destroy" more than one member's lives publically and personally and had to be asked to leave the community due to several people feeling unsafe. After she left, she would routinely walk by our living space and loudly say threatening things in the direction of the house. One of our members felt so threatened that they chose to get a legal restraining order against Casmira Bogucki.
Casmira Bogucki has shown a willingness to actively threaten people in group living situations and we absolutely think Casmira Bogucki is not a safe person to welcome into any communal living or group living community for this reason.
We booked Casmira Bogucki to perform at a show that we were throwing at a venue in Grand Rapids Michigan and paid part of a retainer upfront. Everything was set for many months. Apparently Casmira had a falling out with one of our organizers and decided that she was no longer obligated to perform because she never showed up to perform and gave no notice that this was going to happen. Normally we do accept performer cancellations, but we need notification that there will be a cancellation and a return of upfront funds.
Casmira Bogucki never informed us except to tell us that she wasn't returning the money. Upon further investigation, we discovered other acts that she had been a part of which she had completely avoided showing up to. For instance she is blacklisted from Insomniac Events (i.e. Electric Forest) for the exact same reason.
If you are considering booking Casmira Joy Bogucki for any type of performance or Musical act, we highly recommend that you reconsider as they have proven to multiple people that they are completely unreliable and have no problem stealing money from people if they determine that is right.
