Then they tell me, they wanted me to buy $300 in Amazon cards to pay for bank transfer fees. I did not buy the Amazon cards. He kept asking me where the funds were, in my bank account, in my pocket, etc. I decline to answer. He gave me two telephone numbers to call to speak with his loan officer. The first, 209-208-8866 was disconnected.
The second, 209-208-8978 connected. The "loan officer" reviewed the proposal and asked for the $150 fee on the same basis as previously proposed. I asked for their website. I was told www.cashwebusa.com. When it didn't display I was told www.cashwebusacom.com. Very strange but I tried anyway, No such website displayed. I told the woman I found the entire suggestion of an advance fee to be questionable and she hung up.
