Laptop and Desktop Repair, known as LDR,LLC, or Cash for iPhone's ripped me off for my iPhone6Plus. They quoted me $275.00 but sent me a check for $31.00. The owner of this business is a woman named Annette Williamson. I telephoned her and we argued on the phone.I finally said that I was repoorting her to the Sparks Nevada Police, which I did. They have an online form. I also spoke with the police detectives. The State of Nevada's Attorney General(AG) has more than 300 complaints about LDR,LLC.I suggest that people who have been ripped off by this company contact the Sparks.Police online and file a report. They will forward that to the Neveda AG office who is getting ready to file criminal charges against this company and its owners plus their employee's as co-conspirators in wire fraud(internet) ,mail fraud, theft of property over $500.00 I ahve also made contact with the U.S. Attorney's office in Nevada and have filed a complaint for ICC(Interstate Commerce, theft of Property and and illegal acts under the RICO laws(Racketerring and Organized Crime). I am a retoired police officer and investigator.
After I filed with the police,Annette Williamson telephoned me and want to make a higher offer, but noit the $275 I was quoted. She said:"I want you to be happy". I said do you really want me to be happy or do you want me to drop my criminal complaint? Then there was dead silence on the phone. She then said: I see I am getting nowhere with you and hung up.
I strongly urge anyone who has been ripped off to one save all emails with this company, make copies of any checks receieved and keep the check stub. If possible record your telephone conversations.I do on my telephone. File an online rport with the Spark's Nevada Police Department. send them copies of check stubs from LLDR,LLC,email's etc. My iPhone new is $750.00 that makes this company guilty of a major felony which is the theft of property exceeding $500 in Value. Since it appears she is doing this to more than 10 people its a Conspracy to commit theft and A Conspiracy to commit Fraud. We most definetly will nmot get our phones back.LLDR has broken our phones down to parts that they sell on eBay or ship off to China. We may not see any money although the Attorney General is filing a Class Action against this company. But what we may get is justice.
I received quotes to sell two iphones and two ipads. I had an iphone 5 and was quoted $307 and received a check for $24. My ipad was quoted at $73, they sent $5. Ipad 2nd gen quoted at $119, received a check for $14 and lastly an iphone 4S quoted at $110, received $11.
When I called the company they told me that my items weren't in the condition I said they were. This is not true, especially the iphone 5. They told me they received it damaged, I used their packaging and there was not a single thing wrong with it.
This company quotes high to get you to send in your items with absolutely no intention of honoring those quotes. When I told them to send me back my phone, I was told that they no longer had it.
