Sold me a car way over blue book value. Talked to me for hours about how loyal they were to there customers and about the free warranty for 200,000 miles 2 year supposed to be free. Was over $3,000 . So long story short, I payed $12,500 for a $7,000 to $8,000 car. And I put down $6,000 so with intrest NOW I OWE $11,000 . I just can't understand why they would have did me this wrong. A multi billion dollar company needed to steal that much from me. It took years to save that $6,000 down payment. But all this is my fault. I thought I could trust these people,but instead they have put me in a major set back. In the end a 7 to 8 thousand dollar car. Im paying around $19,000 for. TERRIBLE and im most mad at myself because NORMALLY I WOULDN'T TRUST ANYBODY. THIS WAS MY FIRST DECENT CAR I EVER BOUGHT, AND THEY SEEN ME COMING A MILE AWAY. I purchased a chevrolet equinox from this horrible company, they wouldn't give me hardly a thing to trade it in, and didn't fix several issues including onstar after they promised to fix it, I went to another chevrolet dealership and they did a car fax on my vehicle and they told me my trade in value was approximately one thousand dollars, because it was in an accident and the resale value was low I paid over 14000 for this car. I posted on dealer rater but the sellouts removed my complaint because the dealership advertised with them so they removed it stating the purchase was over 4 years ago, it violates their tos,but it's not. Don't shop at Casey, and don't use dealer rater,ever. I would love to hear from an attorney as I want to take legal action against them. They told me to call them but never called me back. Please if you have half a brain you will not purchase a vehicle from these wolves in sheep's clothing.
Oh where do I start? We bought a car out of state from Casey Chevrolet. Everything went fairly smoothly with some wheeling and dealing. Believe it or not it happens at car dealerships. Who knew that? We had the Explorer Limited about a month and the leather seats literally blew out at the stitching. The foam was completely exposed. Obviously we called the used car manager and explained what happened. He told us to goto a Ford dealer and have them look at it. The Ford dealer spoke to Mr.Rodgers and I heard nothing for weeks. I had to keep hounding him for a reply on how the seats would be repaired. Finally he said go get an estimate which I went and received 2 estimates. He said they both were way too high and I needed to drive 400 miles 1 way and take off 2 days of work at least. Mind you hotel-food etc. Obviously I told him that offer would never happen. It was a complete game from them up until October.
A zillion calls-emails etc. All while he talked to me like I was a second class citizen. He was completely unprofessional and actually needs fired. Oh wait he was once fired from GM which explains why he's probably with Casey now sitting on his elevated throne in the used car building.
I started contacting the Attorney General, BBB, DMV and everyone but Obama looking for help. I then figured out they sold our Jeep which was our trade without the title. Illegal if I'm not mistaken. This place does some fishy business. Finally after months of chasing them, I must of contacted someone and they sent me a check. Okay finally I can fix my seats but now I can't get them to return my GAP insurance which they've had since approximately July unbeknownst to me. I thought the refinance company would cut me a check..No Casey does and they've hidden it from me. Unbelievable right? So now I'm fighting them once again for my money which by law they can't keep for anything. Oh wait Mr. Politte tells me I'm delusional because of my information supplied to me from the finance company. Wow..the unprofessional mentality at this place goes hand in hand with their business procedures. Also don't believe a word about the FREE WARRANTY that they promise you and it covers nationwide. It's a complete crock of crap as stated above it didn't cover the seats nor was it free as the snuck in a $2600.00 charge for an extended warranty which we never agreed to. Yes, shame on me for missing it within the zillion pages of paperwork. Just stay away from this crooked ignorant dealership. Google reviews on them.
