I went into buy a vehicle after calling and getting a price. I chose Casco Bay Ford because the price was better then the other places I went to. I met with a salesman named Connor Rouillard where we agreed on $1500 under list price. I then went into the office with the sales manager named Greg French where we again went over the price.
I opted to take insurance which added $2700 onto the price. After negotiating and signing the paperwork, GREG FRENCH told me that he would put the signed paperwork in the vehicle for me to get when I picked up the car. I did not think anything about it at the time as I trusted Casco Bay Ford and Greg French.
A few days later I picked up the car and saw a binder. I briefly noticed a purchase agreement but there was no signed paperwork in the binder. It didn't dawn on me at the time. I honestly just put it aside. I guess my trust bit me in the butt.
About a week later I get my bill from the finance company. I was charged THOUSANDS over list price. I was furious as I NEVER in a million years would agree to pay a penny over list price, let alone thousands. I immediately contact Casco Bay demanding to get a copy of my signed paperwork and an explanantion as to how in the world I was overcharged.
John Litwinetz, the manager, emails me a copy of a scribbled paper with the price well above asking!! I did not sign it yet my name was typed on the bottom. It was clearly a fraud.
I assumed that John Litwinetz was an honest man and he would do the right thing. The fact that John Litwinetz's salesman, Greg French, (Yarmouth, Maine) did not even give me the signed paperwork should be proof enough that something shady occurred. However, John Litwinetz chose to ignore what happened.
He CHOSE for Casco Bay Ford to profit a piddly few thousand when he is going to lost more than that when Karma bites him in the butt. Apparantly John Litwinetz does not care that his employee screwed me. I am a somewhat religious man and I believe that what comes around goes around! LITERALLY!
Karma will come back to bite Greg French and John Litwinetz in the butt. I do not blame Connor Rouillard because Greg French was the end salesman and it was Greg French that did not readily hand me the paperwork. So ultimately the blame is on GREG FRENCH and JOHN LITWINETZ.
I may not get my money back, but I do know that CASCO BAY FORD in YARMOUTH, MAINE lost at least one sale over this as my son was looking to buy a new vehicle, and I originally told him to go to CASCO BAY FORD in YARMOUTH, MAINE. My son was going to check them out and then this happened.
I know a lot of people and I am telling everyone I know what happened.
