I'm a single mom,i have lived in ottawa, ontario last from march 2017 to march 2018. I relocated to gatineau, quebec.
During my time in ottawa, i under went bankruptcy for the reason of custody battle and lost, everything. I needed a car and bought a mini 2010 and was financed with trend financial. With that being said. Moving back to the quebec province, called trend and advised them with the change of address. Told me that they don't do business with the quebec province. I asked them what could be my options and they said to go see a car dealer and ask them to buy off the car. So i went to see several dealers and they refuse for the reason that i owed to much for the value of the car. I didn't have any choice to return the car.
Now i receive a letter that i owe them $9000 for the car and that it is written even if i return the car i still have to pay the what is owed.
They even had even the gusts to say," well you have claimed bankruptcy you have money now you can pay of this loan". They said it would hurt my credit score. It has already been hurt enough as it is. And the struggle with my personal family issues.
