I went to carmine imports to get my Volvo s80 fixed only thing that was wrong with my car was the parking sensor I was told when I dropped of that it would be $750.00 to fix that was a lil higher than the actual Volvo dealership I was ok with that though and proceeded anyway only because of the bad reviews I read from Volvo pertaining to leaving there shop and other problems occur within days so I decided to go with carmine thinking it was better because of there reviews which made me think a smaller scale business going to be better to so they can have they customers return but not the case the first bad indication was them calling me said well we thot it would be $750.00 but worst case scenario it would be $925.00 I didn't get mad because I needed the car fixed and it would cost about the same to have it towed again so I agreed to that they sent me an electronic payment contract for me to agree to the work that was supposed to only be $750.00 but could be $925.00 at most I agreed they supposedly started working on car and told me I'll have back no later than three days so a week goes by and so then I call still no attitude didnt want any problems of for them to do me dirty because i know what they can do and are capable of and they usually win so i just asked they said dillion wasnt there that day so call next day I called next day dillion said we having trouble getting the module in but he should have me wrapped up next day I said ok cool give me a call don't wanna bother y'all...
So bout three days went by I called back dillion answered I said hey this Brandon I been waiting on call for the Volvo he said oh yea I meant to call u yesterday we ran diagnosis on the car and my new total to have the car fixed would be $1500 something dollars I did why he said whoever hooked up my system was responsible for the new module not working that they put in he asked did I put in myself and after I told him I had it professionally installed and my receipts from install so let me know so I could let them know he immediately said let me call u right back he called back in bout 20 min and said ok we can fix the car for $1,250 of course at this point I was getting upset mind u Volvo just quoted me $650.00 for the same job a month before... So I agreed only thing I said was I really hope this fix it because I only was supposed to only spend 925.00 at the most but long as this is it go ahead that's fine he said ok give me 2 days tops I said ok I called on second day and he told me they was running more diagnostics and my new total for everything would be $3,600 to fix some how they needed to replace all my modules even the transmission module I said no way I'm not agreeing to that so I asked how much do I need to bring so I can just come get my car he said 1,250 I said wow ok I'm on my way still didn't get mad as I should have been because they still had my car I get out there to get my car a day later because I had to come up with money so I get out there pay them he gave me receipt and keys I told my friend to come on so he could drive car back...didnt happen got in car and it was completely dead so they came outside jumped me off and car still wasnt coming out of park like they told me was fixed so thats when i pulled out my recorder amd started asking questions they was ok at first because they felt they had they story together but when i started oicking it apart and catching thwm in lies an requestioning they got super maf and tole me they not answering anymore questions and if I wanted to 5ake them to court I could and I better have the best d**n lawyer I can afford and I quote... i said ok and he said fine we will see who goes broke first I was trying to find lawyers on my lawyer coverage plan from work couldn't find anyone in my network so I gave up until I was told about u guys who could prob help me if u can please help me I tried to wait til I got tax money back to fix on my own but life between bills and paying for transportation everywhere I just can't afford it so I now have a 07 Volvo s80 that is sitting on a trailer and I'm still having to make my $240.00 A month car payment and $100 dollar full coverage insurance please help if u can thanks
