We bought our Suburban in Feb 2016. At that time we were promised 2 free oil changes. Even though this dealership is in a busy part of town, we decided to use their service department. I called ahead and made an 11:00 AM appointment on a Friday for an oil change and tire rotate and balance. I dropped my Suburban off at 10:20 AM for service. At that time, no one asked me if I needed it at a certain time and no one gave me an approximate time that it would be completed. I assumed since I had an appointment that it shouldn't be any longer than 2 hours. When I checked back to see if it was done at a little past 12 PM, I was informed that only the oil change was done. No one had touched the tires yet and the technician informed me that it may take 2-3 more hours. He also informed me that it wasn't even next in line to be done and they only had 1 guy in the entire department that was working on tires. When I complained that I couldn't wait another 2-3 hours, he made me feel like it was my fault for not telling him that I needed it done at a certain time. Seriously?!? I am visibly 9 months pregnant and he thinks I have 4-5 hours to wait for them to service my car? He stated that if I would have told him that I needed it by a certain time, he would have tried to bump it up. I made an appointment for service....is that not good enough? He also tried to tell me that they never know how busy they will be on any given day. Then, he tried to explain to me that if I had dropped it off on another day ( a slower day ) that it wouldn't take that long. It astonishes me that one of the largest well known dealerships in West Atlanta had such terrible service. I will not be returning for my free oil change or for any service provided at this dealership in the future.
