We bought a vehicle on October 18 and had to return it the next day. They claimed they fixed the problem and it still was not working. Took it back to them 3 times after that. We have had the vehicle in our possession for 6 days total. Ben kept giving us the runaround claiming that they fixed the vehicle and then said that we bought the vehicle as is and will not do anything else and now the vehicle is in the shop and needs a new engine. The extended warranty may only cover $4000 towards the engine leaving us with a balance of $4000 to pay out of pocket plus a car note every month. This company has horrible business practices. I wish i had read the reviews before purchasing.
The listing lead me to believe that the truck was all original except the back bumper. When I came to pick up the truck, it was repainted over original paint and had paint pealing in some places. At first they said that they didn’t do any work to the truck but than said that they replaced the fuse box. Seats were not original. They make the listing seam like it is an original car but when you come to pick it up it’s a whole different story.
When I asked Chris for a refund of my deposit because its not as described he told me that the deposit are not refundable. After arguing for hours over the phone he told me that he will give me a $250 refund if I leave him a good feedback on Ebay. He also mentioned that if I leave him a bad feedback he will pay Ebay $100 and they would remove it. What a waist of time, still trying to get my deposit back. Do not waist your money and time with these guys.
After looking up Car Café on Google I noticed that they were formerly Ultra Motor Cars. The internet is full of Rip Of Reports and bad reviews. Here is one of them you can see on youtube.
I dont even know where to start with this dealership, Chris the owner and salesmen is a total con artist who has mastered sceaming people on Ebay. When I bought the truck it looked and was described amazing with no problems discribed whats so ever. When the truck was delivered to my house it took me about 5 minutes to realize i was the sucker who got scammed. as soon as I started the truck there was lights on the dash indicating the tire pressure sensors was faulty, next I noticed oil leaking under the truck. at that point I contacted Chris to inform him of the problems and he basically told me its my problem now and it was bought as is. When I gave him negative feedback on Ebay I was contacted imidiatly by his employees to tell me they will make sure it is all taken care of. So I took it to 2 different mechanics and decided on the cheaper on at $1,000 to fix and I sent them the invoice and he said he will only contibute $300 to the repairs. PLEASE DONT BELIEVE THE GREAT RATING HE HAS ON EBAY!!!!!
