We rented a house by Angela Angie Dominguez and signed year lease with her company RDA Properties and thereafter Capitol Realty Inc. The house was very old that always need repairs including a barely working (purchased used) air conditioning that sucking power like no other time (avg. every power bill came $2500). Every time the house needs repair, the owners have to come with the techician to be sure he is charging something they can afford to pay regardless on the quality of work. Every time we call them to fix some ailing piping, plumbing, electric equipment or appliaces, they get frustrated and irritated. All these issues we can live with but the main problem with these guys is the two months deposit that the tenant pays and will never recover. Unfortunatly we knew that after we moved in by previous tenant who also lost his two months deposit and also the second previous tenants lost their deposit of about $22,000.
What they do, when the tenant moves out, they go ahead and bring in some contractor friend to prepare for them an outrageous bogus repair bills. Even if a plastic piece of $.99 broken that can be purchased at the dollar store, they record it. Bill of painting the whole house, changing the carpet, fixing an old security camera that the tenant has no clue on it..You name it. They can go and create stories, drama that the tenant left their and damaged their home.
Please never pay these guys any deposit more than one month of rent, and record every inch of the house when moving in, and be sure that the appliaces are new and not old working machines.
As a tenant, you will pay a top dollar on rent but you will never be satisfied during your stay.
