I ordered some auto parts from Capital City Mitsubishi, their online service in August of 2021. A day later I received an e-mail from them telling me the parts were on back order and could take up to 10 weeks to arrive. And the e-mail asked asked if I wanted to wait. Of course I immediately responded NO, I didn't want to wait, and I wanted to cancel the order. Of course they had already billed my credit card for $388+.
I also tried calling them several times, but was never able to speak to a live person. A few days later I received another e-mail telling me the parts were now being shipped. At this point, I had already found, and purchased, the parts elsewhere. I frantically reached out to CCM, by e-mails, and by numerous phone calls, but again, not able to speak to anyone in parts. When I spoke to the operator/front desk, she told me that they were "short staffed" and took my name and number, but I never got a call.
One day in early September, I finally got to speak with someone, who told me he was just now seeing my e-mails, and requests for cancellation. He apologized and told me to just refuse the shipment, and upon it's return to them, a full refund would be issued to my CC. The parts were returned, I received the return confirmation from USPS, naming the individual who signed for, and received the parts. Weeks later, after no refund, and not hearing from anyone, I filed a complaint with the BBB of Tallahassee, FL.
After going through the hoops with the BBB, they said that CCM, had agreed to a full refund, and was being processed. After being given two dates for the refund, 09/04/21, then 09/14/21, but to date, 10/04/2021, there is still no refund. I have not been able to speak with anyone since that day in early September. So they have my money ($388) and their parts. And to my amazement, after seeing all the other negative reviews, they still have an A+ rating with the BBB!
