I ordered an 11x14 canvas print of my boys when they were babies. When the company confirmed my order and showed me what the canvas would look like, it looked great. When I got the can in the mail it was blurry as all get out and really light. I tried a few times to contact Canvas People but to no avail I haven't gotten an answer. I want either my money refunded or another picture printed better.
I ordered a Canvas today at Canvaspeople.com. I bought a groupon for an 18x24" canvas for $21.99. When I purchased the canvas, I was given 3 option for shipping. Option #1 was for standard shipping. There was no price next to it. I assumed it was included in my purchase because they website didn't state otherwise. Option #2 was for expedited shipping. In parenthesis next to the choice for expedited shipping it listed the price as $13.95. This is the option I selected. I was charged $27.94.
I tried to reach out to customer service. They do not list a telephone number. Email only. I got a reply stating standard shipping was $13.99 in addition to the $13.95 for expedited shipping. My receipt that was emailed to me was not itemized. I had no idea what I just agreed to pay for.
In my opinion this is bad business practice and shipping prices should be clear on the website before charging my credit card.
When you press submit to order your canvas, it doesn't tell you what you will be charged. I had to look at my credit card statement to figure it out until I got my confirmation email. The email only listed the price, not what I was charged for. This is shady.
I haven't received my canvas yet, so I can not comment on the quality of the work or if it came on time. So far, I feel I was ripped off. I paid more for shipping than I did for the canvas. After reading reports from other consumers, I am nervous about my purchase.
Canvas people took my month and still no canvas, no refund and no response back. There is a number listed online but when you call it, it rings once & hangs right up on you. Don't fall for this rip off company!! Paula Chattanooga, TN
They literally stole my money, I ordered a canvas from them and they never sent it out.I have sent them multiple emails asking for my money back, because their phone number does not work and they have not gotten back to me at all. It has been 3 weeks!! Also, come to find out their business is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!
You will never be able to contact a person, and they will not bother to get back to you or refund your money.
