When my printer malfunctioned, I called the support number for the product. When asked what product, I gave the exact name of the model.

The voice kept repeating to give the model number when I already had. I sent a report to a feedback site and was given a link to register my product (which I had already done on after purchasing it 7 months ago.) Since they had lost my registration, I went through the motions of re-entering it). After receiving an email acknowledgment of the registration, I went to the support center and was told to register the product.

I purchased a new Canon Power Shot camera about a year ago. When I took it in for repair the technician said that a circuit board was improperly installed at assembly. He took excellent pictures of the damaged circuit board and it was very plain to see the board was installed on the wrong side of a retainer tab, causing the failure over time. When I contacted the Canon repair center they could repair it for 79 dollars per hr, plus parts. Canon is evidently not responsible for their own assembly errors, therefore ,we will never buy another Canon product.

Our canon printer/scanner is no longer working due to a leaked canon ink cartridge. We have always bought our ink cartridge that was made by the name of printer we had. I called canon to see what help I could get to fix my problem. was told since our printer was out of warranty they could do nothing for us. I told the idiot on the phone that my printer didn't fail their cartridge did, and that's what messed up our printer. It simply came down to "aw it sucks to be you" we can't do anything because our printer warranty was past the date....

After receiving error messages on my Canon Pixma 922 printer, I read the instructions to go to the online service manual. Since I had no such manual on my device, I searched the web for a service manual, being careful to include the term "manual" in my search.

The search brought many hits, all listing places to purchase the model requested, absolutely none on servicing an existing printer.
