We ordered canning jars, lids & rings from canninglid.com. We ordering 4 cases of regular and 4 cases of wide mouth jars, and would get 2 cases of each free.
Web site shows pictures of jar packaging with made in U.S.A. printed on the label. We paid an extray $2.40 for insurance, incase the jars came broken, and another $6.99 for VIP shipping, so we would get the jars in 3-7 days. The jars actually came from China, and took nearly 20 days for the jars to be delivered.
The "Big Ripoff" is we received only 6 regular jars and 6 wide mouth jars.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE.
I will be calling my credit card company to dispute the charges.
I ordered 2 cases of canning jars with lids and rim, paid over $30. They sent me 2 jars, which were not even canning jars. Emailed them several times and they offered me a refund of $6.98. The website and address show an address in Texas and they are actually in China. Do not order from them, they are scammers,
We ordered 8 cases of canning jars which was to come with bands and lids. When you ordered 8 cases you receive 4 free.
We received just 12 jars! Their website is meant to be consusing apparently, and the fee for these 12 jars was $114.99. Nobody in their right mind would pay that much per jar.
Contacted the company (the ONLY way is via email) and they said they sent what we ordered and that was that. We told them specifically, sent pictures, asking for a return address and a refund. They said they couldn't do that.
I reversed the charges via my credit card and they now will have to deal with that. We tried all we could and they weren't helpful or accommodating.
** Also, although they have an address on their website in Texas, everything came with labels from China.
They do not have a phone number. They do not have social media. They are not listed with the BBB.
Their company email address: [email protected] (very professional isn't it?)
I purchased mason jars from a site named Canning lid. They have used words that are very unclear to what you expect to receive. The jar are not mason jars and the tops are made from tin. I purchase what I thought a carton of jars and only received 4 jars with tin lids at the price of $65 US dollars. They will only refund an amount of 13 USD for my troubles.....oh and keep the (4) jars. I have expereinced that the web sitees out of China resently have used others advertisment photos and the description is written in a way that it is not viable.
They refuse to refund the money and I have even offered them $20 US for shipping costs which is generous since they are sipping them to LA in containers. II would say that I would get a better jar at the 99 cent store.
