Several years ago my wife joined CG to workout and the trainers were fine and she enjoyed it. However, lasy year, during a workout, she injured her knee and was unable to continue doing the workouts. She contacted the online offices and attempted to cancel but they talked her into suspending the account for a month or so to see if she healed, which she reluctantly did.
A couple of months later, she attempted to continue with an online workout and re-injured her knee. She then contacted the office to cancel once again and they refused saying she had to call back in 6 months, she was under contract? Note that she never re-signed any contract extension and had already been with them a couple of years, so well past initial contract period. Multiple attempts at getting them to stop billing since she could not use them were unsuccessful. I finally contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges. 3 more months went by and my credit card company then required a letter stating we had cancelled, even thought we could not get one from them.
Finally, wy wife called them again after the "6 months"? period and asked again to cancel, which they said they could not because we had disputed the charges, my wife, in desparation, gave them our other credit card, which they charged, to cancel and send a letter, meanwhile the other credit card company re-placed the disputed charges, thus double billing us (I would say triple billing since they should have cancelled 6 months earlier} When my wife called in again and showed the charges, they said that was the dispute amount and would not credit us {even though the numbers were a + charge not a - credit. The company's billing methods can't be legal....
