I placed an order online. They sent the fax authorization to my dogs vet. The vet sent it back the same day. The order status was pending for days, when I called, I was told by the customer service representive that he would figure out what was wrong and call me the next day. I didn't get a call back, when I called back. I got the same story with a different repersentive who told me the same story. They called me back just to let me know that the med was out of stock. They offered to upgrade my shipping but could not guarantee that I would get the med that I ordered on time. Then after all this, they balmed my bet saying that they never got fax from him. The representive then did a conference call with my vet. When My vet said he fax it the representive was very rude balming every thing on my ver. Needless to say I cancelled my roder and will never order from them again
Ordered for my pet flea and tick meds. After over a week I called and asked where the meds were. They said they had a problem with the credit card. My CC company says no problems. I call them back an let them know the urgency for the meds and to re-run the card while I am on the phone. The card went through, they apologized and said they would ship rush shipping and not charge me.
I have been working and mistakenly presumed they did what they promised.
They didn't.
I figured out 3 weeks later that they still hadn't shipped because my dog now has fleas and a tick.
I now have to take my dog to a vet to make sure he is ok.
I emailed this morning and called CPP now and asked what happened, and they said they shipped out the package today. Not rush shipping either, just standard.
I asked why this happened and asked to speak with a manager. The person came back 3 times with responses from a manager, but they would not let me talk to them.
Take a look at the 83 1 star responses that this company has. I wish I would have.
Do not use California Pet Pharmacy if you want your medications for your fur babies. And post your responses everywhere you can on consumer sites to spread the word.
Oh and I forgot to add.... after talking 3 times with the person, he told me the manager says the original package was shipped and must not have reached me. Convenient.... AND.... I don't believe it because they always send an email automatically when the products ship, along with a tracking number. Guess what... no email with tracking number. When I asked for the original tracking number.... crickets.
I asked for a discount, they said manager not available, maybe shipping paid.
California Pet Pharmacy is a complete joke of a company! Maybe at one time they were fine but definitely not anymore. They send medication to incorrect addresses and then refuse to either replace the medication or refund the money. They say it was delivered so they fulfilled their obligation. The customer says" I did not recieve it" They say "Prove It! Our records show it was delivered." The customer says "where did you deliver it to" They give an address. Customer says" that is not my address. I did not receive the medication." They say" Prove it, our records show it was delivered" It is mind boggling!! The higher you go with the issue, the louder they proclaim they fulfilled their obligation by delivering the medicine! It is like being in a alternate universe or the Twilight Zone. They primarily use the post office for delivery so there is no way to track who receives the package. Never waste your time or money with these horrible people. Something is really wrong with them. Even the Better Business Bureau in San Francisco is confounded by their responses to my complaint. They are going to post the entire exchange on their website because you have to read it yourself to grasp the full scope of the idiocy of the California Pet Pharmacy. Additionally the California Department of Consumer Affairs and the FDA have open complaints against the California Pet Pharmacy that are being fully investigated. They would not say if it for similar complaints or other issues. My guess would be that the California Pet Pharmacy is fighting many differnt issues with the State of California and the Federal government.
