Cal Montenegro was under contract with my clients and sold the lot for 30k more to another individual and tried to switch lots. My client did nothing and moved on to another option.
I just encountered another individual who was under contract with Cal for a home that had an encroachment issue and mold issues. Cal increased the price on this client, insisted it now be sold "as is". He witheld a setback/encroachment issue and failed to disclose water damage that resulted in mold damage. Instead of remediating the damage, he placed a hepa and ionizer in order to pass mold inspection.
A new home being sold in "as is" condition is highly suspect. BUYER BEWARE
