Remove glove box switch. Remove cupholders. Remove ashtray. Remove center console armrest. Remove shifter . Remove artificial wood inserts. Remove ignition switch. Remove left front a pillar. Removed right front a pillar. Remove three – speakers. Then remove dash pad. Transfer over HVAC ventilation duct work from old dash pad. remove and transfer passenger-side airbag. And re-install this procedure peas 1.5 and takes roughly 8 hours I can provide scenarios like this all day long from a warranty perspective . GM is stealing literally millions of labor hours this way.
