Butler Chrysler Dodge Jeep Reviews
BAIT AND SWITCH @ Butler Dodge In Beaufort SC. On July 3, 2017, I looked at a white truck that was in stock, a white duly. This truck did not have the transmission I needed. Your sales manager said he would match this truck with one that would have the correct transmission for the same price as the white truck you had in stock. He found the truck he said was the correct truck in Tennessee. I agreed to buy this truck and paperwork was done.
After a few days I received a phone call informing me the paperwork was incorrectly done and needed to be corrected. I was told that the paperwork was written for the white truck which was not the truck I wanted. In trusting your employee I visited your dealership and reworked the paperwork. A few days later I was called to come and pick up the new truck. When I got to the dealership I found a completely different truck. When I told your sales staff this was not the right truck, I was told you signed the papers and you can’t get out of it now.
So going back and checking the paperwork I found the original paperwork which was for the truck from Tennessee and not for the white truck. Apparently, I was lied to about the paperwork being for the white truck. I was obviously scammed into buying a truck from Florida that I did not know anything about.
After visiting with you and informing you what your staff had done you agreed to make this right and get me the truck that I paid for. You found a truck in Columbia you said you could bring it up to what I paid for and then you told me you could not get this truck. You found another truck in Pennsylvania that was more truck than I was supposed to get. We agreed on a price of $672.50 that I would pay you when you got the truck in Beaufort. While waiting for this truck from Pennsylvania to come in you got the truck from Columbia that we found could not be brought up to what I paid. I told you, you needed to get the truck from Pennsylvania that we agreed on and you said you would.
While waiting for this truck you asked me if I would go to Pennsylvania to get the truck and I refused.
I did not hear from you for two weeks, I contacted you. You said you had the truck. But then You refused to honor our agreement of $672.50. You said I owed you more money.
I also paid 599.00 to have the GPS activated in the truck that I was supposed to get. But the truck I got already had it activated. So not only did you scam me out of the truck I paid for. You also stole my $599.00. BAIT AND SWITCH @ Butler Dodge In Beaufort SC. On July 3, 2017, I looked at a white truck that was in stock, a white duly.
