I was bailed out of jail by Bust Out Bailbonds October 2nd. They were very unprofessional. He didn't have a second copy of the contract on hand so he texted a picture of the contract. I signed the contract. The agent never signed. By the end of December, I was finished paying off my bond. He met me at my apartment to receive that last payment. In January, I attended my court date where I was accepted in to their probation program where charges will be dismissed after completion. In February of 2016, I received a call from Bust Out Bailbonds. It was the owner, Eric, reminding me that I had to go sign up for my probation the following day. (Keep in mind that by this time he is no longer my bondsman because I'd made all of my payments & attended my court date). I informed him that I was having a hard time finding a ride to the particular city where my probation meeting was head. He assured me that if I couldn't find a ride that I could call him & he'd help me get there. The next morning I called & took him up on his offer. At the time I was at my cousins home so that's the address I gave them to pick me up. Eric's girlfriend is actually the one who ended up picking me up. She drove me to take care of my probation as promised. As soon as we left there she went to the jail house & claimed that there were a few papers that she had to sign for another client. When we arrived, she asked me to come inside because her boyfriend (Eric) doesn't like people in their vehicle alone. I completely understood & proceeded out of the vehicle and into the prison. That's when I saw Eric. I smiled and waved at him in gratitude for him helping me find a ride to take care of my business, but Eric was not friendly back. He was enraged & walked over to me putting his finger in my face & making several false accusations about me to me. There was nothing I could do. I was handcuffed and sent to prison. While I was in prison I was puzzled and could not figure out why I was there. Later on that day, a female warden assisted me down the hall to another holding room & on the way there she made a comment about me not paying my bondsman. So from then on I assumed he lied and said that I never paid him. When I was assigned my dorm, I spoke with a few of the other inmates & was surprised to learn that I wasn't the only one scammed by this couple. The very next day I bailed out again through another bondsman. Since then, I've called & recorded the conversation asking Eric & his girlfriend why I was arrested. Their answer was that I changed my address without informing them & that the judge revoked my bond. I never moved & I clearly wasn't avoiding them because I gave them my location & I let them pick me up & give me a ride. These are crooks & this business should be shut down immediately before they make someone else their next victim. Because of this, I've lost my job for "no call no show", I had to pay another bondsman (which was extremely hard without a job), I was falsely arrested, & my probation was terminated meaning that I have to still pay them & I have to go back to court for the same case from October.
