We bought a brand new jayco trailer in july of 2014 and starting having issues right away of which there is too many to list but the biggest one was the roof leaking , the sent a tech out and he found some seams not sealed properly and repaired , we continued to have issues and we went back to the dealer and tried to take to trailer back and get our money back because we thought it was a lemon and we were worried the the roof would rot but they told us dont worry everything will be fine . Since camping season was over they told us to get in touch with them in the spring to take care of some of the outstanding issues like rust so bad on the bottom that the clamps that hold the fuel lines together for the generator have rusted off but they refused to answer any of our phone calls or e-mails as to when we can get this done to the point we had to file complaints with the BBB and the attorney general to get them to respond , finally we get the trailer to them and they say they have found 3 small holes in the roof which they say must of been done by a branch or hot embers but are very recent they say but a large section of the roof is rotted and they want almost $ 11,000 to repair it , first of all i say the holes were made by someone not something as they are almost perfectly spaced and in line and i would almost bet they were caused by a tech with a multi purpose tool checking for extent of rot like the one in the picture they sent us and most of all very recent holes would have not caused the extent of rot there is but is most likely caused by a long time leak due the the improper seals and sealent we have been reporting by e-mail since day one
