Our family has just received the worse Christmas news from budget direct car insurance today. Our claim for a minor car accident was rejected today. For 6 years we have been paying premiums. The policy was rejected because of non disclosure of a incident that happened 3 years ago that my wife forget to put on the renewal notice. The policy is under my wifes name not mine, the incident that did not involve drinking or crash or anything like that. Two weeks ago I had my first every minor accident, and I mean minor. I called budget, they asked about my driving history and I was completely open with them, not knowing that they didn't know already. I mean why would I hide it and then disclose it once I make a claim? Then the claims person starts asking me all these question in relation who drives the car more, the policy has my wife, but if that's changed they will knock back my claim or increase my premium. The business model for budget direct is charge small premiums but make their money back in knocking back claims or increasing their premiums. PLEASE IF YOU"RE A HARD WORKING FAMILY, DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE MADE. I am confident in time to come Budget Direct will be investigated for fraud. Regards, Joseph
