The car I purchased has some front end damage on the passenger side of the vehicle and the passenger back side paneling came loose while driving on the expressway. Distraction tactics when looking for damages on the vehicle.
I took this vehicle to my mechanic to check the front end damages on the passenger side but found no internal damages to the main frame of the vehicle but the passenger back side gotten repaired by my mechanic at a decent price.
I was sold a 2016 Nissan Rogue, 39,000 miles on it. Great huh? NO!! I traded my 2010 Dodge Avenger with 90,000 miles on it, mint condition and paid off completely. I talked to the salesman Ramone about my fear of giving a great, dependable car in for a piece of junk. I just wanted an SUV.
Im fighting breast cancer and this would be more comfortable for me being higher from the ground. Romone tells me several times " I never lie to my customers, we guratee all our cars, I will get you a great deal". Well first, they seen me coming that is for sure.
I went alone, being a women, not a great idea unfortunatley. This was the first and ONLY car I test drove, telling me it was only car (SUV) available for me on the whole lot. He talked through the whole test ride, found out later why, so i would not hear the crunching noise. interest, yup.
I'll own my part of being stupid and just sighing papers not knowing what i was getting into. When driving off the lot, I heard crunching noise. crying all the home because i just comitted to this car payment when i just paid my car off, fighting breast cancer , all my bills now.
I Needed a good car to drive 6 hours away to chicago for my cancer treatments monthly, this car won't make it safely. I was told bring the car back, then take it down the street to Big"O"Tire "they will fix anything wrong with it" and they will pay all of it.
Well, they denied hearing any sounds, rotated my tires, this told them the fluids , tires, brakes are all fine?? Never checking any fluids, I was sitting in front of a big glass window watching everything they did with my car. Manager was mad because I told him I hear the noise, he stated he didn't hear anything, well I recordered it on my phone, let him listen to it, this really made him mad.
He went out to the floor, told the mechanics, "she thinks she is a mechanic" . The report was, "everything looks good, brakes, tires are all good". Well when leaving the sound was even louder it seemed. took it back to the car lot, the manager went for a test ride, stating he can hear the noise and its the brakes, take it to brakeway down the street.
Well just from that short drive some how my Axel "cut it self " and leaked on the way to brakeway. I was told this was cut, I was shown the cut. this was a $900 repair job so that would be easy money since budget car sales is paying right? Well Big"O"Tires you missed out because brakeway fixed it and did an amazing job.
Oh, the brakes that were "good" were worn down so bad it was dangerous, one of the tires has a plug on the sidewall (illegal) how they missed all that less than an hour ago at Big"O"Tires mystery to me. So brakes, Axel, alighment all fixed. As i pull away the sound is still there and getting louder. so now I'm told take it to the Nissan dealership down the street.
This will now be the 7th time running from shop to shop and I work night shift , 12 hour shifts. Dealership informs me its the transmission. I still do not have my car, made my first car payment and have only driven my car for 3 days (scared to death of it). I bought it one month ago. Budget car sales on dixie hwy Radcliff Ky are the worst!
The salesman even told me he might but my car , the one i traded in, for his son. For someone that swore "He never lies to his customers" was the biggest lier. never asking me what he could do, say sorry, nothing just hid from me. He got his sale, thats all that matters. I kick myself daily for my part in this sale.
Being naive, sighing papers without someone with me, trusting in others to be honest. WORST buying experence ever. I could have bought a new car but didnt want to go that route, now i wish i had. PLEASE don't ever go to budget car sales. You will be lucky to get a good car from them.
