Buddy's renal rented me a phone ( Samsung galaxy mega) on 12/10/12015 and two days later it stop working. I took it back abd the manager found that 2 little prongs were missing at the slot that the sim card slides in. The sanford store did not have another galaxy mega so he calked around and found obe at the Apopka store which us about 25 miles away. I drove there to pick it up because I didn't want to wait the next day. When I got there they gave me the phone and I put my sin card in to find out that phone also had the same problem. The Apopka store had a second phone same type and this one worked properly until later that night I found out the battery would not charge 100%. I called the Sanford store and told the manager and he ordered me a battery. I never heard from him again until the phone froze completely on 01/04/2016. I took it in and the manager tried to reboot it and it took so long until he gave me a loaner for what I thought was a day. The next day he told me after I called because he never tried to call me that it would have to be sent out for repair. He also told me the same thing about the first phone that I brought back. Now about the rental agreement . The first phone cost $427 but I had a $100 card from buddy's to be applied to a new agreement which took it down to $327. I paid $100 down plus tax. When I brought that phone back and went to the other store and picked up the other phone it was about $80 cheaper which means my payoff would be much less. The manager told me he could no longer honor my $100 buddy's card because the phone was less tha $400.
The Bedroom Ste was tore up it was on managers special...Buddys took almost $500 out of our account....they kept on saying that they was going to have a warrant issued for my husband....they would beat on my door....one of the account manager told me to go buy some matresses and rails and that he would help....
Buddy's furniture engaged in systemic misrepresentations, fraudulently charged a bank card without permission that was not attached to my account, and falsely claimed their merchandise was damaged in an attempt to extort monies from me. Took a week to even come to pick up there furniture.
Yelled and became enraged at me because I switched to Aaron's who gave me equivalent merchandise for half the price. Eric is the manager orchestrating this malfeasance with Koby right by his side. They use their store as a front to engage in devious tactics and I have further been told first hand that they have inappropriatly harassed a female customer.
In my opinion potential customers should avoid Buddy's furniture and A-team leasing at all costs. Barring some unexpected corporate intervention two law suits will be filed against them in the immediate future. I will post updates as the suit proceeds

Now I've been robbed they took my whole entire purse with my wallet. I've called and spoke with the account manager who was very rude as he said," what does you being robbed have to do with you making a payment", I broke down. I tried to see if I can give them double the payment in June. They said the corporate office would not allow for them to do that. So I called the corporate office and all I got is the voicemail so I left my contact information with them. I said my landlord is willing to let me pay double in June then why won't they let me make a double payment?
I had a friend anna long who i paid a paymet using my debit card, she paid me she had noway to cookeville tn she left in november.my name was not on the account at all, somehow they kept my debit card on file, so when she didnt make there payments, on march 2 , 1350 dollars was taken out of my account, i called them and the manager was very rude, i exsplained to him i had nothing to do with that account. now i have 3 children ages 10, 9, and 6, im a single father on disability, now have noway to pay my bills or food for my children, i called the police they told me there was nothing they could do it was a civil matter, i dont call stealing money from someones bank account a civil matter.
I'm suppose to pay every 2 weeks well the store has ran my debit card twice one time for $387.00 and the second time for $311.00. Without my permittion. 2 days after they ran my debit they said I owe them another $311.00. I went to the bank and reported fraud and shut my card off. Now because they can't run my debit card cause I shut it off they are threatening to come and get there stuff. And these figures dont even add up, even if I was late. My payment every 2 weeks is $174.00. They call threatening me and telling me I have to pay $311.00 every 2 days

The next day, I went in and I spoke with a pleasant woman named Elizabeth. She was helpful and kind. I picked out the furniture, signed the paperwork and the furniture was delivered a few days later. A couple days after, I received a phone call from a man named Mike. He was extremely rude from the start. Demanding to pay $156, or he was coming to get the furniture with the police. I went in, and paid it with no issue. A few days later, my husband went into the field for ten days. I was working 16 hour shifts every day, just to make sure we would be okay on our bills. I informed Buddy's that we would be six days late on our payment because I get paid this Friday (9/22/17). Another man with a Spanish accent informed me that it was okay. Today (9/20/17) I get a phone call from this Mike guy again. He began to belittle me, and then demanded that he come get the furniture since the payment is late and he is terminating my lease (which isnt allowed). We are still currently within the 7 day grace period stated ON THE LEASE. The fees he can collect for his little scam are INSANE. Thank goodness I kept the copy of my lease and actually read it. I hope to GOD that he sees this, because my husband and I are contacting the BBB and I will contact the police if he step's foot onto our property. After this incident, I found other similar reviews, and contacted the people having similar situations with this Mike guy.
I had my account set on auto-pay so I would never have to worry about a later payment. Big mistake! On the second month they went in my account and took out two monthly payments plus $50.00. I went in to the store to inquire about it. They told me it was a mistake and that they immediately refunded the funds back into my account, and that I should see it in my account by the next day. Did not happen. I went back to the store the next day and I call the corporate office, which I had to leave a voicemail and someone would call me back in 24-48 hours. They gave me the same ole story at the store. The same day the district manager returned my call from corporate. He seemed as though he were livid about the store's actions. He told me to go back to the store right then and he'd have then pay the full amount plus overdraft fees I incurred.
When I got back to the store they gave me my overdraft fees but said since the return of funds were in progress they couldn't give me cash for the payments they took. They said no doubt I will see it in my account in the morning. So I reluctantly left. I waited until 12 noon to check my account. No funds were put back. I called them and told them what time is be at their store. They claimed everything would be worked out by the time I got there. When I got here they told me they are still working on it. Then asked me to go to my bank and file a dispute. I told them to get it together because I am not leaving this store today without my money. So here I sit... Waiting. I've been waiting for about a hour now. They came out trying to offer me something to drink while I wait. I said no thanks, all I want is my money. This is the worst service I have ever in my life received. I would never recommend this company to anyone. As a matter of fact I would warn people to stay as far away from this company as they can. I really hope this report helps somebody.
I rented a mattress and box spring from buddy's rent to own in September of 2016. The longer I slept on it the more uncomfortable it became. It feels like it's sinking in. I called the store to have it picked up on November 4, 2016 and they came a week later to pick it up. They took the mattress into the hallway of my apartment complex then they brought it back in my apartment and showed me a bug on the mattress and said I had bedbugs. I've had my house checked for bedbugs and I don't have them. They still refuse to pick up the mattress. All I want them to do is pick up the mattress because I can't sleep on it because it is hurting me. I am on a fixed income so I can't afford an attorney.
While still a renter freezer quit on my bottom freezer of whirlpool on november 12th, 2015 and am still waiting for my new refrigerator that they promised.
my old refrigerator - they said it was a year old - was much older then 2 years old with no warranty - except there's. MODEL # GX2FHDXQ07 - 21.7 CUBIC FOOT.
told them i did not want a stainless steel but would take in white or black of the same size. So, they ordered MODEL # WRF560SMYM - 19.7 CUBIC FOOT IN STAINLESS STEEL AND CLAIM IT IS ON BACKORDER.
I think I'm being shafted and thinkiung of hiring an attorney to sue them, which would include pain and suffering.
