After applying to an ad wanting bartenders I received a call from a very sweet but scripted young woman inviting me to interview for their company. After briefly describing what they were I was intrigued as to why they had an ad calling for bartenders if they were a marketing company. I accepted the interview and started to do my research. I found on the Secretary of State that they had recently changed their name to Buckeye Promotions group and they had a main office on Gay St, downtown. I went to the interview and was greeted by the same sweet young woman who made small talk while I waited. My interview was with a preppy business type tycoon named Kai. He took me into his office where he showed off his new luxury toys including a brand new Xbox One. He started the interview by explaining that their client was AT&T and they wanted his company to expand 40 offices within the next year and he was looking for individuals with the potential to run an office. The interview went well but I left with a lot of skepticism rather than interest. He said they would be conducting call backs around 4pm and instructed me to have my phone on. 4pm came around and the same woman called to invite me back for a second round interview. This time I met with two lads dressed in suits and they led me to their car to take me to a Panera to conduct the interview. I got in the car and immediately they put on a show asking me about my hobbies and very personal questions. The interview lasted about 20 minutes and they explained to me that it was a door to door sales position and explained the pay tier. It was a sole commission job which I had no interest in it. The guys who interviewed me were supposedly their top salesmen and they had arrogance to match. I asked them questions about their parent company and if they were a pyramid scheme which it was obvious and they denied it. Despite my inquisition they wanted to put me through to be hired. Meeting with Kai for second time he asked me why I should be hired and I have him all the right answers. Again he told me they would be conducting call backs at 4pm. He called me back and offered me the job and I told him thanks but no thanks, I have no interest in being a part of a pyramid scheme. Don't take this job, it's a joke and you won't even see any money until four weeks later despite sales.
