I ordered 2 reproduction paintings from Brushwiz. After waiting for 3 months they arrived from China. Both were so badly painted that my 8 year child could have done better. Nor will they reply to my emails asking for a refund.
I ordered two oil paintings from Brushwiz.com website, nowhere on their website does it say that they are located in China so I was surprised when a package arrived from Xiamen, China. I was shocked when I opened to find two low quality paper prints worth $5 of the paintings I had paid over $400 for.
I emailed Brushwiz to arrange to return them but they never replied and when I tried to cancel my credit card payment Brushwiz told my card company I couldn't cancel as the 'paintings' had been delivered and not returned. Avoid this scam from Chinese website Brushwiz.com.
I ordered a Van Gogh Starry Night reproduction painting for $342. Brushwiz said that they would hand paint it with thick paint just like the original. I was surprised when a package arrived from China as their website does not mention that they are located in Communist China.
I was shocked when I opened the package and saw that they hand sent sent me a cheap, flat, dull print rather than a painting. Brushwiz did not reply to my emails of complaint so I tried to cancel my credit card payment but they contested with the card company saying that the 'painting' had been deliverd!
I ordered a Caravaggio painting from Brushwiz.com a few months ago. I was really surprised when it arrived from China, needless to say it was very badly painted. I don’t know if they are connected but a couple of weeks later I caught Covid. I contacted Brushwiz and they told me ‘no refund’ as the painting was in their words ‘perfect’ and ‘Covid-free’ - despite advertising a 30 day money back guarantee..
I was surprised to receive a package from China as nowhere on the Brushwiz website do they say that their shoddy paintings are painted in China. As it came from China, I was unsurprised when I opened it that it was very poor quality, it was a Rubens reproduction but looked like a cartoon version.
I contacted Brushwiz's 'customer service' who told me that I knew nothing about Western art (this is coming from a Chnese person!) and so they would not honor their money back guarantee. Avoid them as this is my worse buying experience ever.
