The product I ordered came in an open box. That side of the box was never taped, and it was never removed because if it had been removed, there would be clear signs. When I checked the product, it was wrapped in paper, but nothing else. I ordered a face cleaner by the way, and not once have I ever bought a skincare product that was so poorly protected. For starters, the cleanser wasnt even in a box or seal with at least some plastic. When I opened it, there was no additional seal to protect the product itself. I couldn't be sure if someone had tampered with it or not, and with Covid-19 going around, one has to be extra careful. Its appaling to see a business not taking extra precautions during this time.
I sent an email, and they didn't get in touch with me until after I posted acomment on their instagram page asking them to address my email about the opened package. Not once was I rude to them, but they asked me not to be rude to a small business because I talked about my experience. They said I contacted them at 6am when they were sleeping and that they weren't Amazon with 24/7 customer service. I told them I was not expecting them to respond immediately, but they could at least acknowledge they received my email.
They complained that I was making a complaint and that they had refunded me, no questions asked. They made me seem like I was lying about the whole situation. When I told them I had photos, and that talking about my experience was not being rude, they blocked me. Not only are they rude, but who knows what's inside this badly packaged product.
