I use Verizon cellular service. I used to use the 4 GB plan for two phones and ever since they upgraded me to 6 GB for no additional charge we use way more data than we used to. Under my 4 GB plan, we rarely ever went over 2 GB. Now, ever since We have been on the 6 GB per month plan, we regularly almost have gone over the 6 GB. This month I went over 6 GB and was hit with a fee of $15. Because I have repeatedly almost come close to the 6 GB, I am very conscious of my data usage and I'm trying to curb it as much as possible but yet it does no good. With so many other cellular providers offering unlimited data, it baffles me why Verizon not only will not offer unlimited data, But burns up your data in every aspect on a regular basis and wants to charge you more. I have read the reports from other consumers that have complained that Verizon is running some type of scam. I did not view this is a scam at first, but I am aware that all of a sudden my data gets burned up much more easily than it ever has before . We are barely 5 days in to the next billing cycle and we have already burned up 2 GB, and this comes after I went ahead and upgraded my 6 GB plan to an 8 GB plan. It appears the more gigabytes I pay for the faster they burn them up. Cellular technology can be very complex, so the average consumer has no idea how things work and why they work they way they do so we do not know how to complain or justify what Verizon is doing but we are very aware that something is not right!
