First off AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS Ordered a few parts from Brownells. They said they shipped them, post office said they never got them. Called many times, Brownells refuses to fix iss I ordered several parts from Brownells.com on or around 26 August, 2019.
Here is a list of the products I ordered: -SKU#:100019269 Description: AR-15 Upper Parts Kit Price: $17.99 -SKU#: 231000086 Description: Gas Tube Roll Pin Price: $2.99 -SKU#: 231000350 Description: Delta Ring Assembly Price: $13.99 Shipping: $3.95 ORDER TOTAL: $38.92 (Email receipt picture attached below)
After receiving my email confirmation with tracking number, I waited until the parts were supposed to arrive. They never did. I called the customer service number +1-800-741-0015. They told me to wait about a week just in case shipping was delayed for some reason, and to call back if I still didn't receive the item.
I called back about a week later for a follow up because I still didn't receive the parts, they said that the parts were for sure at the post office at 3100 N. Yarborough Rd, El Paso TX. I drove down there to check it out, they said they did not receive the package and to contact the business.
I am a member of the United States Army, and at this time I had to conduct training missions in California for over a month without a cell phone or computer, which rendered me incapable of handling the matter further. When I returned from California, I called Brownells again regarding the issue.
They once again said the item was at the post office, which is impossible because post offices send packages unclaimed back after 15 days and it had been closer to 60 days at this point. The lady on the phone told me I was pretty much out of luck and that they don't give refunds after 7 days of ordering anything.
She then said she would help me re order the parts, but that I would have to pay for them again. I told her it was unfortunate that brownells was so insistent on scamming me out of less than $40. Now they have my money, and I have nothing. I would've rather donated that money to charity than to have some greedy company take it from me.
I would have just processed a dispute with my credit card company, unfortunately I used my debit card.
