We had water dripping from an overflow pipe, due to condensation in the Airconditioning unit in the attic.

We reported this on Thursday but no one could come out till Monday. We accepted this.

Technician came out on Monday cleaned the blockage and we paid him the deductible. Just before he left, my wife told him of extra noise from the Attic. He brushed off by by saying it was the motor and is quite common.

The same evening the airconditioning stopped working - this was the hottest part of August but their office closes at 5, so we called at 8 am on Tuesday morning - they said no one could come out till Thursday.

We told them it was an emergency but they said they could not come out till Thursday.

Same technician came out cursing, saying he had better thigs to do - Not very professional. He then diagnosed that the compressor was faulty and he was about to leave, when I asked when they were going to fix it - he just said the office would call the next day !!

Nobody called next day - so I called them - after sdome time the Manager spoke with me and said compressor needs to be changed, as well as other parts which were not covered by Warranty - wanted an extra $905 - I was desperate so agreed.

BUT they could not send anyone out till the following Thursday - that is 11 days without airconditioning. Fortunately we do not have children and my wife and I stayed in a Hotel for one night and stayed out with friends other nights.

They then call at 2pm on Thursday, just when we were expecting a call to say technician is on his way BUT NO - technician had medical emergency and so cannot come out today.

This practise is totally unacceptable - we take out a warranty to be covered for unforeseen breakdown - they do charge for call out, then furthermore state certain things are not covered, so in desperation you pay BUT yet they do not provide service in timely manner.

Going to report this to BBB as well.

We had a contract for Home Warranty with Brower Home Warranty. We had to have a new A/C-heater installed. The person they had come to do the job put the primary drain in the auxiliary drain. He was a complete idiot.

Water ran down the wall into the room causing the floor to rot, caused mold through out the end of the room, into the next room all along the wall. We had to have the floor ripped out, the walls all taken out, and then a mold expert to take care of all of the mold. The total bill was $20,000 dollars. The company only paid half. The person representing the company was very rude to us and to the gentleman from the company taking care of the mold.

We had to replace all of the floor in the affected room, redo the walls and a built-in shelf area, pllus the wall in the breakfast area. Before all of this happened, the original drain was taking care of the water efficiently, with no problems.

There was no cut-off put on the wall, and the freon connection wasn't properly installed causing slow leakage. There was no instullation put around the pipe going from the unit to the attic. What a dummy he was.

Now we find out from an A/C company that the outside unit had a larger cooling capacity than the unit in the attic, and all around the unit upstairs, there are air leaks where the "nut" they hired to do the job didn't seal off around the ducts and there also is mold in the ducts because they weren't sealed properly. We are having to pay for all of these repairs.

We are thoroughly disgusted with this company and would love to see that they get bad reports from many other people.

On May 14,2017 I received a letter from Broward Factory Service that I am not completely covered for repair nor replacement for my control boards nor touchpads for covered appliances such as appliances nor Air Condidition.

I just received this letter after almost one year under my first year of this service plan !

I was told none of this when I purchased the plan. I was just told they would come out and repair.

In a way I am very very glad they sent this letter to me because I went on line and looked at Rip Off Report and read endless complaints about their horrible service and not being honest.

My Wife And i decide NOT to RENEW our service plan this year.

Thanks so much Rip Off report. You have helped me in the past once before and I have to tell you that I have told so many people about Rip Off Report and they thanked me.

And I have to tell you that the dishonest contractors went absolutely crazy when they seen a complaint against them on Your site.

I also wanted to let you know about that crazy news anchor named Bill O'Reilly who lied and tried to prevent you from telling consumers about bad contractors just got fired for his dishonest BEHAVIOR toward woman which he got away with for so many years.

He got his, big time, FIRED
