We hired Brothers EZ Moving to move from Florida to Texas. It was farand above theworst moving experience imaginable.
They came unprepared, not enough blankets to wrap the furniture, argumentative, and whenwe requested to speak to a managet, we were told by one of the movers that he was themanager. That was also a lie, as we were informed of by 2 of the movers.
They didnot have enough movers or the right size truck ( trucks as it actually took anotherone. My husband was forced to pay for the second truck AND hadto drive it from Florida to Texas.
A good deal of expensive furniture was damaged as evident by the factthat upon arrival , as they opened the truck, wecouldsee that furniture was just thrown and jammed into thetruck withtheentire back end having noblankets or wrap.
We had the manager on the phone who hung upon us.
The drivers were told to leave WITH our stuff. I threatened to call the police and they did unload a partialamount before leaving to catchtheir plane back to Florida. We hired a local company to come and unload thes econd truck.
We did report the damages as they came off of the truck but were informed by themovers that they do not carry claim forms.According to Brothers policy you must request and fill out a claim form from the movers. I have a ton of video and conversations that I recorded on my phone
Not only was it completely inconvenient that we wound up driving but we were left with a huge mess as they didn not put things back together or where they belonged, destroyed furniture, we payed for another company to come out and unload but the main office ( and a driver) was so unproffessional and were basically extorting us.
Many more issues but I have photos, video , and live phone recordings of alot of this. They informed us the same thing happened the prior week and thecustomer refused to pay so they will not unload until you give them a cashiers check.
Do not use this company if you expect ANYTHING they told you to be true and you expect your furniture to arrive in the shape you handedit over to them in.
There are many more complaints that have the exact same story if you go to WWW.movingcompanyreviews.com
We are filing with the Federal Motor Carriers ,Florida Moversand Warehousemans Associationas well as our attorney.
