This kennel is terrible and our young dog almost died because they did not get him veterinary care.
My husband and I took our three dogs to stay at Break of Dawn for six days at the end of September and beginning of August, 2022. When we picked them up they all had lost weight, the staff did not know their names or who they were, and the two big dogs were covered in pressure sores and cuts.
Our youngest dog was so sick he was unrecognizable and almost died. He spent two nights in the emergency vet with aspiration pneumonia. He had a sore so bad on his hip that he was limping. When we picked him up he had green and yellow discharge coming from his nose, a temperature of over 104, he was wheezing and could barely breath, and he could barely stand up on his own. The staff never contacted us to tell us our dogs were in bad shape and never got vet care for any of them. The owner has never called us and apologized and she has done the bare minimum to make this right.
