Where to begin? Brave Gowns is an organization that sells medical gowns for kids and adults facing health issues. They donate free gowns through donations or through the online store. Sounds great. A noble cause...

however when the pandemic hit they decided to jump on the face mask band wagon- to help out of course! You can purchase a mask for $9 or more for bulk masks. Within days of their launch summer (the owner) said they were hit hard with orders. Weeks went by and no one was getting masks. She started posting about how shipping was slow due to the virus and to just be patient. She originally stated her time as being a 7-9 day turnaround, and has quietly now changed it to up to a 14 day turnaround- but customers have been waiting for so much longer!! Even over a MONTH.

While we understand the pandemic, this is still a business. They do not respond to negative reviews or concerns. They delete comments and censor their social media. They keep guilt tripping customers with different sob story posts or that masks will be needed for 18 months so just be patient!!

However with being SO behind on hundreds of orders they decided to post this:

Emergency masks for those who need them NOW? How about all the customers who have been waiting weeks to months. We need them right away too! Several people responded concerned about this post, but of course they deleted them! A few people said that they cannot get anyone to pick up the phone, respond to emails, or be helpful in anyway. A customer did reveal that when she countactsd asking for help dye to her masks not fitting, Summer, the owner said "Out of 3k you're the only complaint!" Wow! How kind! That customer disclosed she's actually fighting for her life and another organization gifted her masks that she's already received.

Our emails with questioned went unanswered. Not shocking by what we've seen so far.

Be aware before placing your orders here. It may be well intentioned, but they've bitten off more then they can chew and are extremely unprofessional at best. I wouldn't donate or purchase from them in the future.

I placed my order 4/16/2020- when I placed my order, turn around time was 7 business days. On 4/29/2020 -I sent and email requesting status on my order. On 4/30/2020- an email was sent advising to track my order thru there app. On 5/7/2020- I received an email stating that orders from "the 16th and 17th would be shipped on Friday" on 5/15/2020 I sent an email requesting for a full refund. I received another email 5/15/2020 notifying that "a shipment from order #16524 is on its way."

Upon my wait for my order, and being patient and highly motivated to receive my mask to protect my children and my loves ones, because the news anchors are promoting Bravegowns and speaking highly of this company; I found a news add with "Dancing Doc's" and I learned that the mask is not quality material to protect human kind from infections or other diseases. @T_malone3 the doctor on the news interview states that "the brave gown mask are to extend the life of th n95 mask and it's an extra layer of protection"

I understand the pandemic has overwhelmed the company. And this pandemic has also overwhelmed my wait.... we are all struggling with this Virus. I made a purchase that has not been fulfilled within 7 days from my date of purchase 4/16/2020. The company keeps blaming UPS/ FedEx, etc. These delivery entities have not stopped working and operating as usual. I would like to receive a full refund. The bravegowns mask are not what the company states on there website. Please help with getting my refund. Thank you,
