I called a number online for the Oak Ridge Boys Theatre to book concert tickets. I asked to make sure I had in fact reached the theatre and the representative on the phone assured me that I had. I booked two tickets and was told I had to give them my credit card number and pay over the phone, which I did. I received an email the next day on 10/24/2015 at 10:00am from Bransonshows.com stating that I had had to pick up vouchers at a location outside the theatre in Branson. I was very confused but we drove to this location to pick up our tickets, I was then told by the on site staff that they were not associated with the theatre, we had no seat numbers assigned, the concert was probably already sold out, and they did not have tickets for us. I immediately told them to refund my card and that I had been deceived on the phone. The lady working at the counter informed me she cannot give me my money back and that she doesn't work there. She said I would have to call a 1-800 number to try and get my money back and told me that they would likely not refund me. I informed her that I was told nothing about any obstacles or date/time that I could not cancel the order and that the word voucher was never mentioned. I was told that I would receive tickets, which I certainly did not. The company lied to me about their identity, stating they were the theatre, they never told me anything about terms or cancellation information, I was never told that my money would not be refunded, never in the conversation was anything about a voucher mentioned, and they refused to provide me my money back when I arrived at their place of business. I have been scammed. I emailed Bransonshows.com requesting for my money back and received a voicemail today stating that it wasn't their problem that we didn't get tickets. We did not attend the concert, as I had paid for what I thought was tickets but turned out to be a scam company working in a little shack on the main road in Branson. It was my birthday and this was my present and this company turned my little birthday vacation into a nightmare and they will not refund me. I'm not from your state but always wanted to go see a show at Branson, this was my first experience with it and it was memorable for all the wrong reasons.
