Total ripoff. Salesperson promised that our business would be a "top ten" search in three months. 5 months later, it's sstioll not. When contacted, the "customer service" represntative LIED and said they never promise such things. Also told it was a "money back" guarantee. Agsin, rep LIED and they offered no refund.

Merchants, if someone contacts you fromm "Branderp" HANG UP. TOTAL SCAM. Don't make the same mistake we did,

I tried to cancl the service at the end of the contract, I was just not excited with the progress.

Upon receiving the cancel notce BrandRep called me and offer a reduced ratr to give them a little longer to show what they could do. I asked for a conformation e-mail, i was busy that day and didnt have the extra time to talk on the phone. The e-mail came stating the monthly rate would be 49.95 with a month to month service.

The next month I was billed 99.95. i tried contacting BrandRep directly thru e-mail and their internal message system. Without a reply, I filed a dispute with the credit card i used for an overcharge. The next thing I know BrandRep locked me out of the account access site and locked me out of my google page. Upon finaly contacting them on the phone, they were rude to me, sayd i was wrong about the overcharge even though i had an e-mail confirming the reduced price.

Informative staff assistance

This is a sincere thank-you to Haley at Brand Rep for opening my eyes to the world of Search Engine Optimization. In business these days, a company needs to be aware of the assistance they can get by utilizing a company like Brand Rep. Especially in being able to reach yur customer base via the internet. Haley taught me about an internet world I was not previously versed in. Thank-you again for this valuable service.

These guys are hijacking Social Media and Website domains, basically forcing customers to continue paying them on a monthly basis - since they (BrandRep) OWN the domain (purchased the domain on their clients' behalf), Google Plus account and anything else they worked on (and yes, they actually POINT THAT OUT to unhappy clients!). That would be OKAY, if they did a great job - but THEY DON'T. I am just so disgusted. The website they created for a friend did not even have an XML SiteMap (which is important if you want your website to be indexed!); a key word testing of my friend's website showed that NO KEYWORDS had been added. None ... ZERO ... Which is another important aspect of search engines optimization. NO WONDER that after THREE MONTHS of the website being up, the only way to get to the website is to type in the actual URL (Website Address). I actually took the time to CREATE an XML SiteMap and requested for them to upload it so that I could work on submitting the sitemap to search engines; but they came back with a "NO CAN DO". Their response was that thee are working with templates that don't allow customization. REALLY???? So the only way to help my friend is to purchase a NEW DOMAIN and start from scratch. He was lucky since he was thinking of changing his company name anyhow. Those clients that are tied to an established company are out of luck.

Last, but not least, while going over my friend's website, the hours of operations for EVERY DAY was listed as: CLOSED. Monday: CLOSED ... Tuesday: CLOSED ... I think I made my point. Plus, their google plus account did not list the website (another MAJOR Search Engine Optimization issue) ... These people will rip you off. For anyone who wants to GIVE UP control over their brand name, domain and social media accounts FOREVER, go for it. For anyone else, you'd better educate yourself on whom you are considering giving control of your business name, website and social media accounts. This is too important. To start with: It is easy to buy a domain. YOU NEED TO BUY IT IN YOUR NAME. Then you can hire someone to create a website, and then log in where ever you purchased the domain to point the domain over to your website. If they do a poor job, you can have someone else redo it and then point your domain over to the new website. YOU NEED TO OWN THE DOMAIN. YOU NEED TO REGISTER YOUR OWN GOOGLE PLUS, FACEBOOK / SOCIAL MEDIA PAGES, and allow others to work on it, once you have assessed their suitability.
