Terrible experience. This is not a "you can't make everyone happy” situation, this is one where they did not disclose damage on a new trailer purchase, tried to hide the it, and not correct their negligence. Purchasing and delivery of a brand new Sun Lite 16BH on July 15, 2021 was smooth. Our sales associate, John, was helpful and professional. However, with the RV at home before first use a puncture in the shell was discovered.
The dealership slapped a "Brandon RV” bumper sticker on it to cover it up. The sticker was found covering the puncture hiding behind the spare tire, which is an odd place for advertising where no one can see it. When I reached out Scott acknowledged the damage and was sympathetic at first, even told me he had a similar experience with an auto he'd purchased recently. He said he would do what was necessary to make things right. His word is not his bond. When I called back as instructed he pushed me off two times and my subsequent calls and emails have gone unresolved.
I have heard nothing from them, not even a "sorry about your luck, go pound sand”. That COWARDICE and the management of this shady business is unbelievable. Truly a terrible experience. They cannot even tell me that they won't make things right by any means of communication. My recommendation to any prospective buyer of Brandon RV is do a more thorough job of inspecting the RV than I did before signing any papers.
Who does this to honest, hard working people who have paid for a NEW RV? This was not paid by lottery winnings, inheritance...nothing given to us. This was paid by careers of hard work, many years of 3rd shift, OT, etc. Thanks Brandon RV for taking our money and running.
