Brandefined Insights Marketing Group Billed for services not provided and after cancelation; did not return emails Beaverton, Oregon
A young sounding enthusiastic sales person, Ethan Swaney, called from 'Brandefined' offering to set up a Face Book marketing campaign for a monthly fee, no contract, and one time set up charge.
They required a credit card but promised not to bill until the program was approved and launched.
A Nathan LaPierre contacted me a few days after the first discussion to discuss the ads they would create, but they took another three weeks from first contact to show them to me and, they say, launch the campaign which I have no way of knowing they actually ever did, and in fact based on Google analytics am pretty sure they never did.
However they had billed my company credit card immediately without waiting for my approval, which I did not catch immediately. After emailing the sales person and Nathan La Pierre asking for updates a Mike Yake emailed to say he would be allocating to me a market strategist. He then emailed to say it would be him, Mike. When I emailed back with questions and request for explanation of the lack of information he never responded. I never received any further strategical consultation just the one email and no response to my questions.
I had agreed to try the service if I received weekly analytics report from them detailing where and how often my ads had been placed and if my own Google analytics showed results from the ads. My own analytics showed no results and
they never provided the detailed reports or proof of services rendered that I had requested.
I canceled the service within one month but they continued to charge my card. I had to put a block on their company charge with my credit card company.
Their former company, Insights Marketing Group was notorious for running the same kind of scam and they do admit to having been formerly associated with this company, but when asked, explicitly explain that they separated from them
because of bad business practices. Apparently they have not separated and are up to the same tricks.
