On 9/1/2022, at 10: 45 am. I arrived at BP gas station. Located at 2110 Duluth HWY, Duluth, GA 30097.
Inserted my credit card, paid for gas. Removed the fuel filler and inserted it in my vehicle. I watched the numbers move on the gas pump machine. After it came to a complete stop, I was under the impression, gas was pumped into my vehicle. Subsequently, I realized my gas needle, in my vehicle had not moved from where it were before.
Reported this to the gas station clerk, who appeared to be the owner. His first reaction was irritability. I was verbally attacked. Based on his response and reaction to my complaint he had no intention of refunding my money, or check to find out how to remedy his defective pump.
He suggested I called the cops for a resolve. A good idea, so I did indeed call the cops. I explained to the cops what had transpired. Advice they gave was for me to take him to court, for a refund.
Then I found out he, the gas station clerk, had also called the cops too. The cop who he called, didn't asked me what had transpired. Instead, attacked me without hesitation or a method of fair resolve.
To my surprise he asked for my license, then wrote me an Order Of Protection. An order of protection for me a paying customer patronage, to this gas station business. In addition, a business establishment/entity, open to the public.
As a law abiding citizen, who co-operated with the cops, I'm stunned as to why I was issued this Order Of Protection. Never been arrested or was ever in running with the law.
My warning to others, is to avoid this BP location in Georgia. Apparently, this gas station has only air pumping in customers vehicles. He gets irate when you ask for your refund. Additionally, calls a cop who it seems he personally knows. Who writes Order Of Protection without merit.
