BodyKraft carried out an estimation inspection on my vehicle after a car scraped my front wheel arch. They did an inspection and drew up paperwork recording all non accident related damage. They even took photos, and requested me to sign, I obliged. They picked up my car and held onto it for 14days to repair the damage to the front wheel arch. My insurance provided me with a hire car for this period. Today I was notified my vehicle was ready to collect. I arrived at the garage this afternoon. I pointed out to one of the vehicle mechanics that they had damaged my rear wheel arch. There is big scratches and dents where they have damaged it whilst working on the front. He denied it and said it was there before, I asked to speak to the manager. Tim Freeman came over and told me exactly the same and denied liability. I requested them to show me the photos they had taken on the initial inspection and took photos of them on my phone.
I pointed out the them that you can see from the initial inspection that the scratches are not there. Tim freeman replied "It's the light and angle that you can't see the scratches" Any logical person can see from these images it was not there before they had it. I also told him that the initial inspection report had been amended and forged. The rear wheel arch "DS" had been wrote on in another persons handwriting. Clearly amended after. Tim denied it had been amended. I told them I would be contacting my insurance and seeking legal action. Tim responded rudely "I'll be here love, I'm not moving anywhere, see you soon!" The way I was treated by the manager was completely unacceptable and how he can stand there and lie and not claim liability for thier own mistakes is disgusting. My car has now left their garage in a worser off state than it went in. I am contacting the insurance and seeking legal advice on this. I am disgusted and disgraced by these people.
