WORST company to do business with. Ordered 4 separate types of FUEL line. I received 4 separate packages, 2 of which were correct. 2 boxes contained rubber hoses that were NOT fuel lines, and were NOT the correct size ordered, and were NOT the length ordered. I call customer (dis)service and am tole they would sent a return confirmation. Then they would send a return label. They sent me the return REQUEST confirmation.
Then they sent (a day later) another email wanting photos of the defective merchandise (not defective, WRONG product as I explained after 3 HOURS on the phone and 6 emails), a photo of the manufactures packaging (NO packaging, just rubber hose in a cardboard box by itself which I explained on the phone with Haji), the VIN number to my vehicle (these were outboard motor fuel lines, last time I checked outboards don't have VIN numbers), and a statement as to what the problem is. So I send them everything requested and follow up with a phone call.
After 48 minutes on hold listening to ANNOYING fun facts read by an American voice actor (I mention that because that's the only thing American about this company, their {ha ha} customer service is obviously overseas and STRICTLY ON A SCRIPT) I get through to Haji. Haji tells me the same thing the last Haji told me (same script) and I explained, now the 9th time I have explained this either on the phone or in writing, that they sent the WRONG MERCHANDISE. I am told I will receive a confirmation email for my return REQUEST in 24-48 hours.
Then after the return is approved (3-5 business days) I will receive a return label in 3-5 business days (that's an ADDITIONAL 3-5 business days on top of the approval process). Then after I return the product to the manufacturer (BOADid is strictly a drop ship outfit, they don't actually stock or sell anything) if the manufacturer approves the return a refund will be processed to my CC in, you guessed it, 3-5 business days which will take up to 14 MORE business days to appear on my CC statement. So, their "Fast and Easy Returns" (their website phrasing) actually require 6 to 10 emails, at least 3 phone calls, and (if all goes well and the sun, moon, and stars align) you will get a refund after a total of roughly 40 to 50 DAYS.
Bear in mind that the refund will, most likely, only be a partial refund, even if it is due to their sending the WRONG merchandise. Fortunately I used AMEX and put in a dispute with them to let AMEX deal with these thieves. As to the positive reviews here... definitely written and posted by BOATid, BS shill reviews. Look at all the negative ones and you'll see my experience is common to all with this company. My advice? DO NOT BUY ANYTHING, EVER, FROM OR THROUGH THIS COMPANY.
