Ordered two items Feb 4th, was sent a confimation and tracking number Feb 12th and tracking number showed item on way to Ecommerce Feb 14th. Item never moved after that. I emailed their Customer Service (Sarrah A), and was told it would ship in 4-5 business days. I questioned why a tracking number was sent if the item still didn't ship. The tracking number then became non-exisistat (no longer worked). I again contacted them about this and was told, via return email, that it was backordered and that thousands of them were coming in shortly and my order would ship by next week.
I said I wanted my money back (they advertise a 100% money back gaurantee) and to have my order cancelled. I was told they couldn't cancel my order at this point and said I'd have to wait until I got the order and refused it, and then return it unopened. Nothing was mentioned about giving me my money back. I have since written and asked how they could not cancel my order if they haven't even shipped it yet. I told them all they are doing is giving me the runaround and have no intention of sending anything.
I have filed a complaint with PayPal for the money and with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) about them, and told them I'll informing everyone on this site about their deceptive business dealing. I still continue to email Sarrah A, so I can see how much more stupidity they can spew about why my products aren't shipping.
I ordered a product as a Christmas gift for my daughter. When I received it, it did not work. I tried to contact the company as soon as I found out that it didn't work, but could not find a phone number ANYwhere for the company. I resorted to emailing them (email is all they provide for "customer service".) They refused to do anything at all for me. So, we are stuck with a broken product that we cannot use and are just out the money. DO NOT BUY from these people.
Also, email exchanges were non productive. After the initial refusal to help me in any way, email exchanges just became insulting and they also told me that email was the only way that they offer any type of communication. I also received two links for a customer satisfaction survey from the girl that emails back ("Sarrah H."). The link to the survey was broken on both emails. It goes nowhere when you click on it. So you cannot even leave feedback.
I am appalled at the amount of people online complaining of this being a scam and that they were taken for money. And even more appalled that they are still operating. How is this possible when it is clearly a scam??
Someone please shut this company down. They are scamming people for money!!
In July 2017 I purchased a dash camera. As of today August 22, 2017 I have not received the item in question. I have sent several emails regarding this situation. The customer service representative from boardwalkbuy always respond with " give 7-10 more days". I was given a tracking number with DHL but, DHL cannot locate the number.
I ordered a pair of audio ear buds from boardwalkbuy.com. I paid for the product the same day (March 19th, 2017). I have not yet received them (April 20th, 2017). They say that they do not have them to ship. I've asked to cancel the order and receive a refund. They will not refund and they cannot ship.
